By registering with the Estates Training Advisory Group (ETAG) Portal, you agree to the following conditions regarding data usage and communications.
1. Communication Consent
By providing your contact information and registering through the ETAG Portal, you grant explicit consent for the Estates Training Advisory Group (ETAG) to communicate with you via email, phone, and other digital channels.
This wide-open consent encompasses all communications originating from ETAG and the ETAG Portal, including but not limited to:
- Transactional updates (invoices, certificates, booking confirmations, and joining instructions).
- Educational materials, course flyers, training schedules, and seminar announcements.
- Marketing materials, newsletters, partner updates, and industry news related to healthcare estates and facilities management.
- Automated reminders and administrative alerts.
2. Data Usage & Storage
Your personal and professional data (including your name, email address, contact numbers, and organisational affiliation) is stored securely within the ETAG Portal registry. This data is utilised strictly to facilitate your involvement in ETAG training events and to maintain our professional network.
We do not sell your personal data to third-party marketing agencies. Data may only be shared with verified ETAG partners and venues strictly for the purposes of facilitating seminars and ensuring compliance with healthcare training governance.
3. Opt-Out & Account Management
As a member of the ETAG professional network, you have the right to manage your communication preferences. While essential transactional emails (such as booking confirmations and invoices) cannot be opted out of while you have active bookings, you may request to be removed from general marketing and newsletter distributions at any time.

4. Booking Reservations & Payment
While delegates may reserve a place on a course instantly and without upfront payment, please note that a reservation alone does not fully secure your seat. Course allocations are strictly limited by venue capacity.
A seat is only fully guaranteed once a valid Purchase Order (PO) or direct payment is received by the ETAG team. In the event that a course reaches maximum capacity, unconfirmed reservations may be released and lost to other delegates who secure their bookings with a payment or PO first.
5. Disclaimer
The Estates Training Advisory Group provides educational seminars and training materials "as is". While we strive for absolute accuracy in all technical updates (e.g., HTM, BS 7671), attendees are ultimately responsible for applying this knowledge in accordance with their local Trust or organisational policies.
